This auction is for a Western digital WD TV Full 1080p HD Media Player the item is new, the box has been opened but only to check the equipment and update the item to it's latest firmware. So the box and the unit are in new condition with all leads and software included. The reason I am selling this item is because it was a duplicate birthday gift. This really is an excellent piece of kit and I have been using mine for a month now to watch all of my hi def movies that I have stored on my hard drive. The unit has physical connections for up to two usb devices (HDD or flash drives), composite connectors for connecting to older small tv's, HDMI for connecting to a hi def display or amplifier and finally an optical port which can be connected to a home cinema system giving full digital surround sound (DTS & dolby digital ect). The unit is simply brilliant!
