Peter Rabbit Birthday Plate

This plate is part of the annual Peter Rabbit birthday plate collection introduced by Wedgwood in 1981.   It has a central picture of Peter with his postbag surrounded by the words "Peter Rabbit wishes you a very Happy Birthday".  Beneath the picture is the year 1999, while bunches of fruit and vegetables form a border.   The plate was produced for one year only.   It measures 8 inches in diameter and comes in excellent condition.
