THIS LISTING IS FOR

AN ANTIQUE ELGIN POCKET WATCH. THIS VINTAGE ELGIN IS AN OPEN FACE MODEL 7 SIZE 16 PENDANT SET. IT HAS A 17 JEWELED GRADE 157 MOVEMENT AND A 3/4 SIZE TOP PLATE. THESE PARTICULAR MODELS WERE FIRST PRODUCED IN SEPT. 1895 AND THE SERIAL #25125246 DATES THIS MODEL TO 1925. ALTHOUGH THIS ELGIN IS RUNNING IT NEEDS THE CROWN AND STEM RESET OR REPLACED. FOR THIS REASON WE ARE SELLING IT AS NON WORKING IN AS/IS AND UNTESTED CONDITION.
PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS CAREFULLY AND BE SURE TO USE THE ENLARGE FUNCTION TO SEE THE CONDITION OF THIS VINTAGE WATCH.

VINTAGE AND MANUAL MOVEMENT WATCHES ARE TYPICALLY IN NEED OF SERVICE AT LEAST ONCE YEARLY AS THEIR ARE OILS AND GREASES THAT NEED TO BE APPLIED TO THESE MOVEMENTS AND AFTER AWHILE THESE LUBRICANTS DRY OUT BECOMING GUMMY AND IMPEDING THE WATCHES ABILITY TO FUNCTION NORMALLY.  WE DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO TRY AND ENSURE THAT THE WATCHES ARRIVE AT YOU'RE HOMES WORKING AS ADVERTISED. THERE ARE OCCURRENCES WHERE A WATCH HAS STOPPED WORKING EN ROUTE FOR ANY NUMBER OF REASONS. WE ARE GLAD TO HAVE THE WATCH RETURNED IN THESE SMALL NUMBER OF CASES SO THAT WE MAY CHECK THE WATCH OVER AND MAKE ANY NECESSARY REPAIRS. IF THE WATCH ARRIVES AND IT IS NOT WORKING PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY AND WE WILL MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO REPAIR THE WATCH AND RETURN IT BACK TO YOU AT NO COST EXCLUDING SHIPPING.
