I am offering a Warre bee hive for sale, also known as "The Peoples Hive".

All hive parts, floor, boxes, quilt box and roof are made from good quality 21 mm pine and assembled with plated screws.

The hive is constructed according to Abbe Warre's hive plans.  And further information can be seen at:

The price includes:

One floor with legs and alighting board

Four boxes 30 cm square internally by 215mm deep

One quilted box 105 mm deep with a hessian bottom ready to be filled

One quilt box cover board in 9 mm ply

Eight grooved top bars per box

One hessian crown cover

One ventilated roof

The height of assembled hive is 1.2 m and the weight is approx 22 kg

Is ready to be treated or painted and ready to receive bees
