WWI Blue Max or Pour le Merite. In real 938 silver.  The 'Godet' style Pour Le Merite,  struck in fine 938 silver with 24K gold plate with an attractive slightly antiqued finish. The edge of the suspension plate is marked 'J. G.u.S.' and '938'. Supplied with a generous length of the correct black and silver woven ribbon. Comes  with quality,
Deluxe fitted case for the Pour le Merite. This exceptional quality hand made, wooden case is covered in peacock feather patterned leatherette and is foil blocked on the lid which bears a gilt representation of the award . The case is lined in burgundy velvet with a sculpted recess for Blue Max
and a separate recess for it's ribbon. The lid is lined in burgundy silk and is blocked with the jewelers logo. Complete with brass hinge and catch.
