Embroidered badge of the MALCOLM CLUBS of the ROYAL AIR FORCE, formed during the Second World War.

Malcolm Clubs opened at many RAF stations, named after Wing Commander Hugh Malcolm VC, Royal Air Force.   This officer commanded a squadron of light bombers in North Africa. His was the first Air Force Victoria Cross to be won in North Africa

The original idea of the Malcolm Club was to provide young servicemen with places to go for recreation – By the '70s, they were just social clubs for serious drinking.

This is a Flat or Unpadded badge

This copy has been manufactured by a military tailor.

Badge measures 105 mm across by 53 mm in height.

New, Unissued condition. A quality badge.
