The latest edition of our M40 helmet is painted the 100% correct satin blue-grey (Feldblau). which is the typical color of the Luftwaffe M35, M40 helmets. The helmet helmet has been slightly textured.

The helmet shell features the ET68 size stamp on the left side, and the batch number on the rear, the batch number of the helmet is: 2109.  It also come with a ink-stamped dome stamp on the inside of the crown.

The M31 chinstrap features the the 1940 style bare steel square shape buckles, 12 circular prong  buckle openings and steel retaining stud. And the maker marks of the M31 chinstrap is: R.LARSEN BERLIN 1939

The M31 liner was secured to the helmet shell with three retaining rivets.
