Our elite M40 fur-lined pullover parka is of the style manufactured from 1940-1943 and issued until the end of
the war.

The parka is known as “Kharkov parka” because in the famous battle of Kharkov (Winter.1943), the parka
was very commonly worn by the soldier of the Elite units.

Due to the very high cost in material and time, the parka were never enough to go around in history, and various types of the fur lining were used on this garment.
The exteriors varied in colors as well
*The shell of our parka is made of heavy zeltbahn stylecotton poplin in the typical field-grey shade and lined with genuine sheepskin. The sleeves were padded with woolen material and the hood lined with the sheepskin as well.
Our parka is featured with all the construction details include:
* 4-buttons front

*Pleated chest pockets with scalloped flaps
*“Extra-Wide” fur-lined hood

*Side slits for ease of movement
* lower pockets with scalloped flaps *Drawstring waist and hood.
