WW2 German Elite Extreme-cold 'Arktisch' Partol Cap 58

The Elite troops originally developed the Lamb fur Cap in 1941 for use by long range patrols in occupied Norway’s arctic circle area. And thecaps have been sent to Russia in the winter of
1942-43  and more were quickly ordered up and widely issued to the soldiers of the frontline Eliter troops.
 it is made of field-grey wool material, with cotton lining and padding, the side ear lugs and back panel of the cap are made of 5cm height genuine
sheep fur, and held in the upright position by dual brown cotton tie tapes. The tie tapes and a brown tape fastener were
also utilized for a secure closure when the side and back panels were worn in the lowered position to protect the nape of the neck and chin.
The interior of the cap is fully lined in quilted, ribbed, brown cotton poplin with an internal padding.
