Excellent example of a WW1 officers compass, however, the centre reader has come off its pivot and there is a chip on  the glass.  On the positive side the case is superb and the catch opens and closed on the spring neatly.  This watch Dennison compass dated 1916 the same time as the bloody Somme offensive if only it could speak!!  BIN price realistic for one that needs to be fixed which would probably be a simple thing for a watch maker to fit the reader back on.  Most of these collectable officer's compasses make over £100.
