This lot consists of two WW1 National Ration Books (B).

Issued by the Ministry of Food.

One is date stamped July 1918 with instructions for use on the front and on the back. Has retailer's names stamped inside but no coupons remaining. 

The second book is date stamped Oct. 22 1918 and is slightly different in that it has the instructions printed in red and also has the owner's name and address on the front - named to a lady from Goldthorpe with the food office at Bolton-upon-Dearne.

Has retailers' names stamped on the back cover, inside has some coupons remaining for meat, lard and jam with a full 'spares' page at the back.

Both books are a bit worn with grubby marks and creases and a central crease on one. One book has some writing in blue on the front.
