A rare opportunity for 2 rods for 1 day to fish the Lower Monnow, Herefordshire, a noted tributary of the Wye with open and more challenging beats. A private club stretch 3½ miles long, mainly double bank, holding wild brown trout, grayling and (marked) stocked brown trout. Good mayfly hatch usually. Two club members will be guides for the day. 2008 season.
This auction is one of twenty lots from The Wild Trout Trust’s annual fundraising auction which are being re-auctioned due to a technical problem in the closing minutes of our original auction in April. The Lots being re-auctioned include many fishing opportunities in England and Scotland, plus an autographed Honda Formula One race shirt. The Wild Trout Trust wishes to thank the donors of the Lots for their support and generosity.
All Lots must be taken during the 2008 season, unless otherwise stated.
If you are bidding on several Lots, please note that the ending times for our auctions are staggered between 8pm and 10pm London time on 15th May. We accept payment by cheque, credit card and PayPal. Please remember the charitable nature of this auction and bid generously.
