A day for 2 rods on the famous Wilton Club water, River Wylye. Peter Hayes, an experienced and entertaining guide will show you this fascinating stretch of river, give you a few of his now famous flies and buy a pub lunch. Wild trout, large grayling, catch & release, barbless hooks. Peter is President of the Wilton Club, holds the WTT Research Portfolio, regularly has articles published in the angling press, and has led nationwide investigations into the decline of fly-life. Date in 2008 by arrangement.

This auction is one of twenty lots from The Wild Trout Trust’s annual fundraising auction which are being re-auctioned due to a technical problem in the closing minutes of our original auction in April. The Lots being re-auctioned include many fishing opportunities in England and Scotland, plus an autographed Honda Formula One race shirt. The Wild Trout Trust wishes to thank the donors of the Lots for their support and generosity.

All Lots must be taken during the 2008 season, unless otherwise stated.

If you are bidding on several Lots, please note that the ending times for our auctions are staggered between 8pm and 10pm London time on 15^th May. We accept payment by cheque, credit card and PayPal. Please remember the charitable nature of this auction and bid generously.

This auction is also open to postal bids mailed directly to The Wild Trout Trust and received by 13^th May. The WTT will place bids directly on eBay on behalf of the postal bidders. These bids will be made under the username ‘wttpostalbid2008’.
