Excellent!! I just bought this Panasonic SA-PT860 system to run with my Toshiba 32" flat screen, another recent buy, to go along with an upgrade to Sky+ and HD tv. I took advice of other reviewers and also bought top quality HDMI and Digital Optical cables off Amazon for about a tenner. Well worth it. I have to say the system is brilliant so far. Used with HD tv or DVDs the sound quality is crisp and true. The channel separation is excellent. The volume potential is immense and the sub-woofer really does its job without distortion. I tested the system first with the beach landing scene at the start of Saving Private Ryan, as I figured that would give me a good indication of how good the system was. Amazing!! Like watching and hearing the DVD for the first time. Fantastic value for money, easy to set up using the gismo provided and looks good too.
