PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Payment accepted in UK £ only.

Bank transfer	Within 2 business days of payment receipt	Select 'Other' from the payment options. Transfers should be made to Alliance & Leicester plc.; Sort code 72-50-04; Account number 32977287. If a reference is required, enter the item number you have won.
Postal Order	Within 2 business days of payment receipt	Select 'Other' from the payment options.  Keep the counterfoils until you have received the item.
Cheque	Within 2 business days of cheque clearance	Clearance time is usually 5-7 business days after the cheque is paid into my account and depends on your bank's clearance systems.  I will e-mail to let you know that I have received your cheque and to advise an estimated dispatch date, which I will confirm once your cheque has cleared.
PayPal	Within 2 business days of payment receipt

Please ask!  I am not an ogre; I am a pleasant, friendly and agreeable human being.  I always acknowledge receipt of payments and advise when items have been dispatched.  In the unlikely event that you haven't heard from me, please don't hesitate to e-mail me - I may just be having a "goldfish day"!

WINNING AN ITEM OR "BUY IT NOW"

Under eBay rules, once you have placed a winning bid on an item, or opted to "Buy It Now", you have entered into a binding contract and are obliged to pay for it within 3 working days of the auction end.

If payment has not been received within 7 days of a payment reminder being sent to you, the Unpaid Item process will be initiated in order to reclaim listing and sale fees.  eBay may record this on your buyer account or place a strike against your record which may affect your future ability to bid and buy on eBay.

RETURNS/REFUNDS

If you wish to cancel your purchase, you may do so up to 7 days after you have received it.  You should e-mail me to confirm that the item is unwanted and being returned.  To be eligible for a refund of the original purchase price, returned items must be in original condition, with original packaging and sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery to ensure traceability in case of loss in transit.  You are responsible for the cost of returning the item.

In the unfortunate event that your item arrives damaged or it differs substantially from the listing description you must advise me within 3 days of receipt. If you can supply acceptable photographic proof of your claim, it may not be necessary for you to return the item.  If, however, you are required to return the item for inspection, it should be done so with the original packing and sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery to ensure traceability in case of loss in transit.  Once the returned item has been received and your claim verified, the item will be replaced (subject to stock availability) or a refund will be issued (purchase price, original P&P costs and your return postage costs).

ITEM NOT RECEIVED

Proof of posting is always obtained and I have no control over delivery times once parcels have been entrusted to the Royal Mail postal service.  However, in the event that your parcel remains undelivered 20 days after dispatch (Royal Mail criteria), I am happy to submit an application for compensation to Royal Mail.  You will be required to complete an "Item Not Received" declaration and comply with any requests for information to ensure that any compensation claim and refund are processed as speedily as possible.  If Royal Mail cannot locate your parcel and it is deemed lost, a replacement item will be sent, subject to stock availability; or a refund of the original purchase price and P&P will be made.
