This fabulous Eco Green DollsHouse is a new design out in the Plan Toys range. If you're looking for something a bit different for childrens small world play and at the same time finding out how to live greener then this is the house for you and your children.
The house and furniture are all made from eco friendly resources. The house is made from Rubberwood, furniture made from E-Zero medium density fiberboard which is recycled materials composed of wood waste refined into fibers and reconstituted with the E-Zero glue, heat and pressure. This makes the furniture look great with the wood speckled effect!
The house itself is very eco friendly for children to learn about. There is a Solar Panel on the roof as well as a Wind Turbine for learning about Green Energy. A recycling area on the side of the house with different coloured bins to recycle waste products, and a rain water harvester which children can learn that it can be saved to use for washing cars, watering the garden and flushing toilets! A large shade canopy on the side of the house which can be pulled down to retain warmth and prevent cold wind during winter and opened to let in sunlight and breezes in the summer. Great painted leaf design on the outside walls (no stickers), unique curved roof and a wood spiral staircase at the back.
The furniture included is: main bedroom with double bed, dressing table, seat and lamp and bedding.
Childs bedroom with a bed and bedding and wardrobe. lounge with settee, armchair, cushions, tv and stand, and coffee table. Kitchen with cooking and sink unit together, and dining table with 2 chairs. Bathroom with shower and sink unit and separate toilet. All the soft fabric is made from organic cotton which is grown without using toxic pesticides.
