This lovely plate/platter dish was bought out of a private sale of the "House of Hanover" effects sale a couple of years ago when they sold off hundreds of items.

This i believe was made as a gift to a member of the family.

Its hand carved from a single piece of wood by N.F.B Bercen & KR. Celle in 1949 and is dated on the base.

It depicts four of the Coat of Arms of the family,two of them showing the famous Hanoverian horses.

Superb quality,as can be seen in the photo's.

Size. 44 cms long x 25 cms wide.(18" x 10" )
