WMF IKORA ART DECO GLASS CENTREPIECE c1927 German

Offered here is a wonderful WMF IKORA GLASS CENTERPIECE .This is one of a collection of WMF Centrepieces that I am currently offering .They all date from between 1927 and 1930.This one has a vibrant green body with a contrasting central Burgundy coloured octagonal shape .The piece measures 13.25 inches across its diameter and stands 4 inches tall .This stands on a circular foot .The WMF studio was established in Geislingen in Germany in the 19th century .In 1925 a Department was established by Hugo Debagh ,this was called the Contemporary Decorative Products Department, its intention was to establish the WMF name amongst people interested in Art and Design at the time .He produced the IKORA range of glass .These are some of the better colour combinations produced.It is in excellent condition with no chips cracks or restoration .Good Luck it is a quality piece.Please view my other WMF IKORA examples.I will combine postage if you purchase more than one piece.
