The main fault with the cheap off the shelf Spinners was that the Tails were too short to pick up air currents in still conditions, 0-1 Mph Breezes. They wouldn't indicate anything until the last minute, which meant missed opportunities for Still Air Thermic Take Offs were hard to read, prop wash is another good example when low level flying and Turbulent low level Air also wasn't picked up.

The complete opposite effect happened when the wind speeds got over 5 Mph, the off the shelf spinners wouln't spin in a balanced fashion so it throws the tails off balance making them look like it is Turbulent Air coming through the field when its not.

So our Design Team set out to Build A Purpose made Indicator Specifically for the Aviation Industry. The Sizes were experimented with for many months and many Propo-types and back to the drawing boards took place until we came up with the current Model that we and many Pilots around the World are very pleased with.
