DESCRIPTION. Rare collectors painting - a stunning evocative romantic scene of lovers on a terrace over looking a panoramic lake landscape. Super autumnal copper blues and greens. .  Very detailed and in excellent condition - a very nice painting..

A vert collectable Victorian watercolour with good investment potential.

Watercolour on paper.  Image size 32cm by 46cm and in excellent condition.


FRAME.
Housed in a  ornate gallery frame which compliments the picture 56cm by 69cm with  cream mount. In excellent condition and ready to hang

WILLIAM MONK RE 1863- 1937
Painter and etcher of architectural scenes and landscapes. born at Chester - Studied at Antwerp Academy. Exhibited at the RA RE and IS and the Society of Graver Printers in Colour. Elected ARE 1894 RE 1899. Executed subjects in Venice and New York. Lived in London. Founded and worked with The London Almanac for 35 years
