The most eccentric guidebook I have seen! Written in the author's distinctive style, it lists many places to visit off the beaten track (mostly) & some, of course, that no longer exist. Date is not mentioned - pre-decimalisation, so probably 1960s.

There are excellent walks & car trips here & lots of stories about the areas
