Condition Grading System Guide

The condition of all our used items are graded according to the Gaming Book Grading System.

The condition categories, and a description of what each one means, are listed below:

MINT : The book itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in quality. The cover and any extra items booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT : The book shows some signs of having been used, but this is very little. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD : The book has obviously used many times, but displays no major deterioration in quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. There may be normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

GOOD : The book has been used so much that the quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR : The book is still useable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface marks The cover and contents may be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR : The book is in really bad condition. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. It may only be of use as a collection filler.
