This is a beautiful example of a Westfield SE. Build was started in 1991, registered in 1996. It has the narrow body with a 2.0l Ford Pinto that has been upgraded for unleaded petrol. Twin Webers, K&N and a shiny exhaust pipe. All tryes have good treads on them. The car comes with a well-fitted tonneau and a not-so-well-fitting all weather top but it keeps the rain out. Saying that it has done virtually all dry miles and been garaged for its life. I have also got the side doors, plus small wind deflectors to use in their place. There is a strap-on rear wind deflector which makes cruising a lot more comfortable. The car, as far as I know, has never been raced.
The car is running great but the fuel gauge reads just over 1/2 when the tank is full. I've tried adjusting it to no avail and it probably needs a new sender unit. There is also a slight drip from the diff and gear box seals. The MoT garage noted it for me but it doesn't affect the running and it is a minor leak.
I changed the oil and filter this year and cleaned the sparks and rotor arm. It's also had a new starter motor and ignition switch. I will throw in a K&N cleaner kit, Haines carburettor manual and there is a lot of information on the car including the original built manual and photos while it was under construction. It's only had two owners prior to me and the last one is a friend of mine who had it for 5 years.
All in all, it's a great example that always turns heads. Call if you have any questions: Dave at 0792 606 3600. No canvassers please.
