The Swiss-made Wenger Zernez Backpack is a fully featured technical internal frame backpack designed for optimum performance comfort for alpine use.

Created with the precision, craftsmanship, and skill of the makers of the famed Swiss Army Knife and Watch, the Zernez features an adjustable torso-suspension system for a perfect fit and a load-dispersing mechanical system that transfers weight throughout the pack for optimum load balance.

Further enhancing the performance of this remarkable pack, the Zernez has an ergonomically enhanced waist belt that features double-density foam, which transitions from a thick to thin density around the hip-bone area, as well as incorporates an air-flow channel to aid in cooling. This maximizes weight load distribution and enhances the overall comfort of the pack.

The top-loading Zernez carries a hefty 3,000 cubic inches of gear in the 50-liter version and 3,600 cubic inches in the 60-liter version and is loaded with organizing pockets and attachment points for additional gear. The fitted lid features a clear map case and mesh pocket for easy access to navigation aids. The lid converts to a lumbar pack for day trips away from base camp. A front access pocket provides easy access to the main compartment and has an integrated organizer.

A fleece-lined media pocket with a waterproof zipper, first aid organizer pocket, front organization pockets, and an integrated knife pocket add to the convenient features of this pack. Ready for any adventure, the Zernez is equipped with two trekking pole mounting points, two water bottle receptors, an ice axe loop, rubberized gear loops with reinforcements, and sleeping bag attachment points. An integrated, fitted double-sided rain cover keeps contents protected from the elements for use in any weather conditions.
