This Kit comes complete with:

 1. A 6.9 Litre Vessal full with softening resin.

2. A 10" Vessel with a refillable inner cartridge FULL of regenerating salt.

3. All Pipe work and connections, Fittings needed.

4. A complementary 5Kg bag of Salt in addition to the prefilled cartridge already in the 10" vessel!

5. 2 x Clamps to secure the kit to your system.

This kit is almost a 'Must Have' for anyone living in a hard water area, It will prolong the life of your filters and RO Membrane.

The Process of water Softening:

1). Hard water enters and passes over the softener resin. The resin acts like a magnet, attracting the calcium and magnesium (hardness ions) in exchange for sodium ions. This Creates softened water.

2). eventually the resin beads will become exhausted and saturated with hardness ions. This means that the softening resin is in need for rejuvenating.

3). It is simple to rejuvenate the resin, it is done by flushing a strong brine solution (salt water) through the system. This in turn breaks the bonds between the hard ions and the softening resin, thus leaving you with fresh softening resin beads again.

4). The brine solution is then flushed down the drain by fresh water and the softener is ready to use. The Regenerated resin can be used again and again.

Warning: the brine water must only enter the softening vessel only! It will damage your system if it is allowed to circulate through your Pure Water System.

Instructions of use will be sent out with the equipment.
