COLD WAR CLASSICS - VOLUME ONE - 95 mins approx Seven rare short films produced mainly by the US Govt for military and Civil Defence purposes to show the effects of nuclear weapons including blast and fallout. Disturbingly jaunty in their approach these films were meant to prepare the US for the idea that a nuclear war could not just be fought and won, but may also be a positive thing in the long term. Essential viewing for anyone interested in the history of the Cold War, fans of films such as Threads and The Day After and those interested in Public Information Films and governemnt propaganda. These are very hard to find classics. Contents:

These US Civil Defence films are Cold War classics and extremely hard to find. Doctor Strangelove had nothing on this lot!!!
