WARGAMES TERRAIN/SCENERY - DESERT TEMPLE / ARAB TEMPLE

 (UNPAINTED AND UNASSEMBLED)

 Cast in Crystacal R (a very hard plaster). This building is durable enough for even the most heavy use.

It looks great as a Desert temple/Arab temple or painted in grey tones would make a brilliant gothic/roman temple.  Consisting of four arch panels, two interior walls with doorways, two plain walls, four doors (two different options) eight gargoyles (two different designs) and an onion dome. Please note that it does not include roof or base board.  We used cork tiles for the roof, available from most DIY stores. 

This massive building measures roughly 11" square and is really two buildings one inside the other (the smaller building roughly 9" square).  This can be made in a few ways, you can assemble it as shown, or without the interior room, you could put the arches end to end to support a building, the onion dome is optional so you could leave it out to create a gothic building.

This would make the perfect objective in any game or just an excuse to start or expand your scenery collection.  A small amount of modelling skill is required to assemble this kit. 

We recommend a good strong base for this as it is quite heavy when constructed, and the roof piece should be fairly strong to stop it from bending if you place figures on it.  We used cork tiles which are cheap and readily available from any good DIY place. They are easy to cut, take the paint well and are lightweight.  We suggest that you assemble the inner room seperately from the outer one as it can be difficult to paint and glue etc, if you don't, then when painted glue the outer one to the base and then cover the base as you normally would.  The corners of these pieces are mitred but will probably need filling with a small amount of ready mix filler or household plaster, this is to ensure a seamless appearance, and to further strengthen the joins.  The plaser takes the paint really well and corners can be glued with any strong adhesive, especially waterproof PVA, if it's not waterproof be careful when you paint as it may soften the glue. The surface benefits from a coat of textured paint.
