Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from about 1950, 13th edition.  Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and fold-out maps.  

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : The Wye Valley, including Hereford, Llandrindod Wells, Tintern Abbey and the Spas of Central Wales.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps :  Very good.   All the maps are complete and undamaged apart from one edge tear to the first map (no loss).

Covers : Excellent.  Very little wear.  No markings or damage.

Spine : Excellent.  No markings or damage.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Very good.  Very little wear.  Slight discolouration at edges.

Other  : Original Ward Lock price label (6/- net) and a very small pencil inscription inside front cover.
