Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from 1928/29 - 6th edition revised.

Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and fold-out maps. 

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Weston-super-Mare, Wells, Glastonbury, Burnham, Wookey, Cheddar and North-East Somerset.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps : One map is missing.  All the others are complete and undamaged, aprt from one small edge tear.

Covers : Very good.  Normal wear and a little superficial marking.

Spine : Very good.  Some wear.  No damage. Just slight rubbing at top and bottom edges.

Binding :  Binding of text block is very good.  Spine coth (with both covers attached) has separated from the binding itself and is just hanging on by a thread - could be easily reglued.

Pages :  Very good.  Normal wear.  Some wear and discolouration at edges.

Other : Small pencil inscription inside front cover.
