Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from 1935/36, 8th edition revised.  Full of contemporary photographs and advertisements

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Pwllheli and North Wales (Southern section) including Llandudno, Aberystwyth, Aberdovey, Towyn, Barmouth, Portmadoc, Criccieth, Snowdon, Llangollen, Corwen and Bala.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps : Excellent. All the fold-out maps are complete and undamaged, apart from one which has a small tear along part of a fold.

Covers : Very good.  Normal wear.  Faint superficial marking.

Spine : Very good.   No damage. 

Binding : Very good. Slight crack inside front cover.

Pages : Very good - normal light wear - very little discolouration.
