Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from 1935/36, 2nd edition revised.  Full of contemporary photographs and advertisements

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : The New Forest, including Southampton, Winchester, Romsey, Netley Abbey and other parts of Hampshire.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps :  Very good.  One of the fold-out maps is missing but the rest are complete and undamaged, apart from one small closed tear.

Covers :  Very good.  Just slight wear.  No damage.

Spine : Very good. Some wear. No damage.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Very good.  Normal wear and some discolouration.
