Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from 1938/39, 10th edition.  Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and fold-out maps.

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Looe and South Cornwall, including Polperro, Fowey, Falmouth, The Lizard, Truro and St Austell.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps : Excellent. All the fold-out maps are complete and undamaged, apart from one tiny edge tear.  Unusually for this series, some of the maps are in full colour.

Covers :  Very good.   Normal wear.  No damage or markings.

Spine : Very good.   No markings. Small side split at top edge.  Scuffing to top and bottom edges.

Binding :  Very good.

Pages : Very good.  Normal wear.  Quite a lot of discolouration, mostly at edges.
