WARD LOCK GUIDE - LONDON, 1950s - UNDERGROUND RAIL PLAN

Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from the late 1950s - 61st edition.  Full of contemporary photographs and fold-out maps. This is one of the more expensive hard-back versions without the sections of advertsiments.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps : Very good.  All the fold-out maps appear to be complete and undamaged, although one is loose and a couple are scuffed at the edges. There is also a fascinating old H C Beck Underground Railways plan, with all the lines shown at the time, all in their different colours - this plan is in excellent condition with no markings or damage.

Covers :  Excellent.  Very little wear.  No markings or damage.

Spine : Excellent.  Very little wear.  No markings or damage.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Very good. Normal wear.  Discolouration at edges.
