Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from the 1940s - 15th edition.  Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and fold-out maps. 

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Leamington Spa, including Warwick, Guy's Cliff, Kenilworth, Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry, the George Eliot Country etc.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps : As this was a wartime edition, a number of the maps were omitted for security reasons under the Control of Maps Order.   The first fold-out map of the area is still in place - it is in excellent condition - complete and undamaged.

Covers :  Very good.  Normal wear.  Slight rubbing to the edges.

Spine : Very good. Normal wear and slight fading.  No damage.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Very good. Very little wear or discolouration.
