Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from 1933/34 - 10th edition revised.   Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and maps. 

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Hastings, St Leonards and South-East Sussex, including Bexhill, Battle, Rye, Winchelsea, Bodiam, Pevensey, Herstmonceaux etc.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps :  Very good. All of the fold-out maps are present and undamaged, apart from an old tape repair to one small tear (no loss). The first map is slightly loose.

Covers : Excellent.  Very little wear.  No markings or damage.

Spine : Very good.  Normal wear.  No markings or damage.

Binding :  Excellent.

Pages : Very good.  Normal wear.  Slight discolouration.  No damage.
