Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from the 1940s,  11th edition revised.  Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and fold-out maps.

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Falmouth, including the Lizard, Truro, St Austell, Fowey, Looe, Bodmin and surrounding areas of South Cornwall.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps : Very good.  All the fold-out maps are complete and undamaged.  Two are loose.

Covers : Very good.  But slight damage to edge of front cover (see scan) and a small superficial tear to edge of cloth on back cover.  Some bumping to the edges.

Spine : Very good.  Normal wear and a little creased.  Scuffing to edges and a small tear at bottom edge.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Very good.  Very little wear or discolouration.

Other :  Small pencil inscription inside front cover.
