Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from the 1940s - 11th edition. Full of contemporary photographs, fold-out maps and advertisements.

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Exmouth and South-East Devon, including Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Dawlish, Teignmouth, Exeter and sorrunding areas.

Overall condition : Very good, apart from front cover and spine.

Maps : Excellent.  All the fold-out maps appear to be complete and undamaged.

Covers : The front cover has been replaced with a plain dark red board cover.   The rear cover has normal wear and no damage apart from two small tape strips.

Spine : Poor condition - badly split and scuffed.  Two small strips of tape holding it together.

Binding : Very good.

Pages : Very good.  Normal wear.  Some discolouration to edges.

Other : Despite external condition, still in very good condition internally and a fascinating read.
