Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from the 1940s, 12th edition.  Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and fold-out maps.

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Eastbourne, Beachy Head, Pevensey, Hurstmonceux, Lewes, Seaford, Newhaven and other areas on the East Sussex coast.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps :  One map is missing.  The others are all in excellent condition - complete and undamaged.

Covers : Very good.  Normal wear. Slight rubbing at edges.

Spine :  Very good.  Normal wear. Slight rubbing at edges.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Excellent.  Very little wear. Slight discolouration at edges.
