Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from the 1940s - 16th edition. Full of contemporary photographs, fold-out maps and advertisements.

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Dartmouth and South Devon, including the River Dart, Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Totnes, Torquay, Paignton and surrounding areas.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps : Excellent.  All the fold-out maps appear to be complete and undamaged.

Covers : Very good.  Normal wear. Small superficial scuff on rear cover. Some bumping to edges and corners.

Spine : Very good.  Normal wear. Scuffing along part of one edge. No other damage.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Excellent.  Very little wear or discolouration.

Other : Small pen inscriptions inside front cover and on front title page.
