Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from about the 1940s - 3rd edition. Full of contemporary photographs, fold-out maps and advertisements.

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Cheltenham and the Cotswolds.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps : Excellent.  All the fold-out maps appear to be complete and undamaged, apart from one tiny edge tear.

Covers : Very good.  Hardly any wear. Slight bumping to corners.

Spine : Very good. Split along part of edge with front cover (no loss). Slight scuffing to bottom edge.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Very good.  Slight wear.  Very little discolouration.
