Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from 1929/30 - 9th edition revised.  Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and fold-out maps. 

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Budleigh Salterton and South-East Devon, including Teignmouth, Dawlish, Exmouth, Sidmouth, Exeter and surrounding parts between the Teign and the Axe.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps :  Excellent.   All are complete and undamaged.

Covers :  Very good.  Normal wear.  Some bumping to corners and edges.  No damage.

Spine : Very good. Normal wear.    No damage.

Binding : Very good, although there is a crack inside the front cover - could be reglued.

Pages : Very good. Normal wear.  Discolouration at the edges.

Other :  Tucked inside the front cover is an extra old fold-out street plan of Budleigh Salterton - complete, but some tears along the folds.
