Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from 1923/24, 8th edition revised.  Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and fold-out maps.  

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Bude and North Cornwall, including Tintagel, Boscastle, Morwenstow, Hartland, Lundy, Boscastle, Padstow, Newquay etc.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps : Very good. All the fold-out maps are complete and undamaged, apart from a small edge tear to one (no loss).  The first map is loose.

Covers : Very good. Normal wear.  Slight superficial marking.  Crease to one corner of rear cover.  No other damage.

Spine : Very good, but rather worn and slightly creased.  No damage. Slight rubbing to top and bottom edges.

Binding :  Very good.

Pages :  Very good.  Normal wear.  Slight discolouration at edges.

Other : Small pen inscription inside front cover .
