Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from the 1940s - 11th edition revised.  Full of contemporary photographs, fold-out maps and advertisements.

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Brighton, including Hove, Shoreham, Bramber, Lewes, Newhaven and the West Sussex coast to Worthing, Bognor and Chichester.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps :  Because this was a wartime edition, the detailed street plans were removed for security reasons.  The remaining fold-out touring map of the district is in excellent condition - complete and undamaged.

Covers : Very good.  Normal wear and slight superficial marking to rear cover.

Spine :  Very good.  Normal wear.  No marks or damage.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Very good.  Normal wear.  Some discolouration at edges.
