Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from the 1940s - 14th edition revised.  Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and fold-out maps. 

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Bideford and North-West Devon, including Clovelly, Hartland, Barnstaple and Ilfracombe.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps : Excellent. All the fold-out maps are present and undamaged.

Covers :  Very good with very little wear. No marking.

Spine :  Very good.  Normal wear.  Small tears at bottom edge.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Very good. Very little wear.  Less than average discolouration.
