Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from 1931/32 - 10th edition revised.   Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and maps. 

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Bexhill, including Hastings, St Leonards, Battle, Rye, Winchelsea, Bodiam, Pevensey, Herstmonceaux and surrounding parts of South-East Sussex.

Overall condition : Very good.

Maps :  Very good.  All the fold-out maps are complete and undamaged.  One is slightly creased and has a scuffed edge where it has not been folded back in properly.

Covers : Very good.  Normal wear. Slight fading.  Crease to rear cover.  No other damage.

Spine : Very good.  Normal wear.  Slight fading. No damage.

Binding :  Excellent.

Pages : Very good.  Normal wear.  Quite a lot of discolouration at edges.
