Fascinating Ward Lock "Red" travel guide, dating from the 1940s - 7th edition. Full of contemporary photographs, advertisements and fold-out maps. 

These guides are increasingly becoming collectors' items. (See www.wardlockredguides.co.uk  for more information about the series.)

Area covered : Aberdeen and district, including Deeside, Donside, Strathspey, Cruden Bay, Dundee, St Andrews and surrounding areas of Eastern Scotland.

Overall condition : Very good (apart from spine cloth).

Maps : Excellent.  All the maps are complete and undamaged.

Covers : Very good.  Normal wear.  Slightly scuffed edges. No markings or damage.

Spine : Poor.  Small sections missing at top and bottom.  Remaining section torn and scuffed, but "Aberdeen" title still present and legible.

Binding : Excellent.

Pages : Very good - normal wear - not much discolouration.
