Description:

A 40 piece canteen of Walker and Hall cutlery designed by David Mellor in Symbol in the pattern. Set is made in stainless steel, with nylon / plastic handles.

Designed in 1962, Symbol is a seminal Mellor design - designed to eliminate the use if handiwork in the manufacturing process.

The canteen contains; 6 dinner knives, 6 dessert knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 dessert forks, 6 soup spoons, 6 dessert spoons and 4 serving spoons.

The canteen box is in teak, with the original W&H label to the inside right.

   
Identifying Marks: All fully marked Walker and Hall.

Condition: All in excellent used condition. There are no heavy scratches to the steel and no damage to the black nylon. Box is in excellent order.
