Metric AND Imperial at the touch of a button
They have a weighing capacity of 5kg (11 lb) and the display can be set to show grams, kilogrammes, ounces or pounds and ounces.
Accurate to the gram (or the ounce) The scales display weight in 1g (0.05oz) increments, giving you an accurate assessment of weight. Choose metric (g/kg) or imperial (ounces/lb & oz).
No need to weigh the bowl Another useful feature is the Zero/Tare button, which can be used to set the display to zero while there is something on the weighing plate. This is useful if you are pouring a required weight of an ingredient into a bowl but do not wish to weigh the bowl. Simply place the bowl onto the weighing plate, press Z/T and the display will revert to zero, allowing you to add an ingredient to the right weight.

The scale is supplied with a 9V battery included. Plus, there is an instruction leaflet and a FREE James Martin Recipe Ideas booklet.
No more flat batteries The scales have an Auto Power Off function that switches them off if left unused for more than a few minutes, so it won't run the batteries down if you forget to turn them off.
Can it be powered from the mains? Yes - you will need a mains adaptor transformer (sold separately) that has a 9V clip on it. Then you simply connect the clip to the battery connector clip on the scales.
