A Voigtlander Avus double extension folding plate camera for 6.5 x 9cm exposures made in Germany between 1927 and 1936. The camera is fitted with a good fungus free Skopar 10.5cm f4.5 lens in a working Compur shutter with speeds from 1 second to 1/250th, T and B. All speeds sound correct but not verified for accuracy. The body is in good condition and the spirit level still has it's bubble. The leather carry strap is not original. The chrome is very good apart from brassing to the focus knob. The double extension bellows are in excellent condition and the focussing mechanism is working well. The viewing screen and hood are present.
Not mint but a tidy example of a classic folding plate camera and offered at a low starting price with no reserve.
