  • Metal Threads, with a female thread on top (double threaded) to allow for additional filters or hoods to be fitted
  • Supplied in a hard plastic clear container with protective sponge like cushion
  • Retail Boxed (see picture of box)

Product Uses

ND Filters are used to reduce light intensity from sunshine, snow and glare etc.

They're ideal for video, still, digital and photo working by reducing the amount of light reaching the film or sensor, but with no affect on colour balance.

The four main uses for the filters are:

1. Enables slower shutter speeds to be used, so they can display movement instead of freezing motion. For example, creative waterfall shots.
2. Decreases depth of field.  Effecively blurring the background.
3. Decreases Film Speed.
4. Allow video cameras to operate in brighter light than without the filter.
